Paperworks for exporting of the goods (customs for outside of EU) – waybills, itmes sheets, customs attorneys. It is necessarry for preparing export declaration with insets. Usually the paperwork takes 1-3 hours after receiving of invoice.

EU import
declaration

Importer of goods should submit documents to Tax and Customs Board: customs declaration and proof of payment of VAT and customs duties (for goods outside of EU). After positive response from Customs Authority, importer is allowed to recive goods (incl. documental formalities, removal of seals, examination of goods) from bond warehouse, customs zone or even in harbour entrance gate.

For receiving goods from bond warehouse, importer must pay VAT and customs duties. Our tax payment service allows receiving the goods immediately after preparing customs declaration and confirmation by Tax and Customs Board. We pay the contributions of customer to Estonian Tax Authority.

In case of exports from EU and imports to local country usually the importer of goods is managing customs procedures in local authorities. In exception some of the countries bordering the European Union (Norway, Switzerland etc.), where importing procedures are quickly manageable and carrier can pass border within minutes.

There are, in foreign country (outside of Estonia) for importing of goods, different goods declaration according to local rules. Usually documentation work is managed by consignor, but sometimes also by freight forwarder. Declaration requirements in different countries are broadly similar. Vendor must be registered as exporter and the goods shall conform to the requirements of both countries, the invoice shall contain the necessary clauses.

For sealed goods transiting through the European Union (eg. The Norwegian-Turkish, Ukrainian-Norwegian) by road transport must declared in form of EXA, T1 or T2. During the transit (during the carriage of goods), there may be a change in ownership of goods, or the carrier exchange.

Other freight

In addition to the customs documents or invoices, there are other necessary documents in international transport: CMR, freight waybill, item sheets of cargo, and loading sheets with recipient / host confirmations. In the national cargo thare are used local shipment delivery note and / or the delivery proof with signed confirmation.
